Re: Best tick blocker? Collar or treatment?

I believe all of the store bought flea and tick controls cause more harm than good. Take a look at the side effects on most of them.

Re: Brushing teeth

These are articles, there the truth. If you actually read the articles I listed, you would see the benefits of feeding raw/raw meaty bones. Feeding raw won't do any harm to your dog, supervision is something I do recommend, however when feeding a raw food diet. The only way you can learn is to educ...

Dogs ARE carnivores. * All information belongs to http://rawfed.com/myths/omnivores.html * MYTHS: DOGS ARE OMNIVORES This is false. Dogs are carnivores, not omnivores. Dogs ARE very adaptable, but just because they can survive on an omnivorous diet does not mean it is the best diet for them. The ass...

Dogs don't need their teeth brushed. Raw meaty bones scrub away bacteria, infections and plaque in the mouth and freshen the breath. A good raw meaty bone for teeth cleaning are pig feet, pork hocks, shanks, chicken feet and wings (turkey and chicken are good wings). These are just some bones out o...

Beet pulp doesn't have any nutritional value whatsoever. Beet pulp is a controversial filler but is also a fiber source. Example, Beneful has no nutritious value whatsoever. Beneful is like feeding your dog a bottle of store bought syrup for every meal. Beneful Original ingredients: Ground yellow c...

Re: Car sickness

Give him a high quality ginger capsule and a cinnamon capsule before going on a car ride, you may have to give him two of each. Ginger and cinnamon are great for dogs who get car sick, both calm down the dog, relax the dog and keep the dog from getting sick. Another recommendation is a Thudershirt. ...

Re: Finding a new Dog Food

I would feed Taste of The Wild before I'd feed Blue Buffalo. TOTW and BB are so much better than Pro Plan. Pro Plan is not a food that you would want to feed a dog. Feeding 3 different foods in 5 weeks isn't going to effect your dog's GI tract if you mix a little bit of his old food in with his new ...

I have a dog that inhales food without chewing, he's 18 years old and swallows his food without chewing. I recommend the brake-fast Dog Food Bowl, it's a great dog bowl that slows a dog down from eating too fast.

Clove oil is the best flea and tick repeller. It keeps the fleas and ticks away. Feed a high quality food and put 1 tsp of garlic powder in your dog's food for each meal. Garlic powder wards off fleas and ticks. Feeding a high quality diet will definitely help with keeping fleas and ticks away. Clo...
