Red dot sight question.

I am not familiar with red dot sights, but looking forward to getting one for my AR, but my question is, when they are not powered on can you see through them clearly enough to use flip up iron sights, or does the red dot need to be removed before you could use the iron sights?

Thanks,

I would advise going to either different breeders and checking out the dogs for yourself and seeing the dogs in action, or going to trials ect. to see what each one offers that may be different or catch your eye a bit more than the other.

If you can afford to send the pup to a good trainer that would be your best bet in my opinion. For research for trainers in your area, just ask around for who is a good trainer or facility within "X" amount of miles from you and get some good feedback, visit the place and see if that is some place t...

We reload for every rifle and most of the pistols we own. At one time it was Certainly cheaper to reload. The problem whish has been mentioned is that components are hard to find. Re: Reloading question

the worst part is picking up all your brass, Isaac and Banks I do not have it yet, but for an AR there is a mesh style bag that hooks up to the shell ejection area to collect all the casings so you dont have to walk around and look on the ground trying to find as many casings as you can. Sounds like a lose lose situation for now lol. 5.56 rounds can not be found in my area, .223s can be found, but as soon as they get stocked they seem to be gone within a hour or so. Maybe instead of just buying a reloading kit I will just slowing get one a piece at a time and hope that after awhile ...

So the components are getting as hard to find as the rounds and the lower prices for the weapons, wonderful. People who just like to shoot just have been on the losing side for the past few months unless they were well stocked up before time.

Reloading question

I do not reload, but with the cost of ammo for a 223/5.56 being so high right now, would I be able to save money by reloading, or would I still be better off just buying new rounds? I would probably (if it would save money) reload my two pistols as well, 9mm & .40cal. Thanks for the help

Most importantly make sure that someone has control of the dog, be it leash, holding its collar, whatever, and let it sniff around. I have never had a bad or even mild reaction, but you can never be too safe with a baby. Grats on the baby!!!

Operant Conditioning (treat training) is fine for the beginning steps of OB, but totally not needed for "field work". What training program are you going to follow ?. Pitch the wing. If your dog is retrieving already dont worry about the treats for that, but treat training (and when I say treats I used pieces of the dogs feed), to help with sit, come ect ect. really help out imo. Example for come, place the food between some fingers and call the pup to come, when...

All it really boils down to is ask questions, research available stuff in your area and try it. If your dog is having good stools, nice coats, has the energy and keeping weight then sounds like you got a winner be it Pro Plan, Sportmix, or Ol Roy.
