Re: Wolf Attack
There was a big study done about 15 years ago on the genetics on some wolves in Algonquin park and other parts of eastern Canada. Results were that the long forgotten red wolf "brush wolf" had made a comeback. They are most definitely resemble a large coyote. I wonder if that's what you guys are see...

You are not going to mistake a wolf for a coyote. Every wolf I have seen is gone quick. I am hearing 600 yards max on these Garmins, and thats in prairie conditions. 600 yrds is squat if a dog goes on a deer, he will be out of range before you look at your screen. Garmin needs to at least double the range before i will consider them

The Collar Clinic will never get my buisness again. They wont stay true to their warranty and cant seem to fix a collar no matter how many times its sent in. Fro mnow on all service is done at the manufacturer for me.

If he is the best dog in the field that day he will place. I think the problem will be when there is another dog that has had the same performance and it comes down to chosing a dog with a missing tail. Regardless dont let it get you down, a good dog is a good dog

Mine is 11 now. Never owned a dog that backed as natural as this one. Great noses and temperments....just like all the other pointer breeds. I dont think there is much of a difference between the PP, GWP, and GSP as far as ability is concerned. They can do anything well. The only downside is the coa...

Im willing to bet the guys with gsp's that are serious about trialing and wanting the best dogs available probably all have some EP in their somewhere, and im thinking some of these guys are arguing with each other. Re: Jeep Wranglers and Hunting?????
I used a jeep for a few years and as far as dog transportation goes i thought it was horrible. My dogs were big swimmers and also liked to roll in crap, does it ever suck having them inside the cab after that. Room was way to small and the interior was stinking pretty bad in no time. I use a Tundra ...

Sounds like sour grapes to me. There is a reason pointers and setters are dominant in hb and coverdod trials and there is reason gsp,s are used more as a versatile dog. If you want to compete trials at the highest level get a pointer or setter. Horses for courses people. I ran a continental breed fo...
