I have used his book, "Training With Mo". There is a place in the book that lays out step by step. Mo and Martha also offer seminars that would be a wise investment. Let me clarify> "stud to approved bitches" is usually what you here from those that have a stud to offer. i simply was asking what the approved part would consit of. I have no stud to offer. gesh..

What does a picture of my dog with a check cord on have anything to do with the question at hand? Is that really a deciding factor of bitch approval for you. :roll:

lol.. makes sence. Just that it seems that the studs usually has more titles or higher level titles than the females in a fair amout of breedings.

Yep I would agree. Dog is showing you signs it time for formal training from what you described. I was in your shoes not too long ago. New to it all just like you (still am). Highly recommend... Training with Mo. How Maurice Lindley trains pointing dogs. Written by Martha Greenlee. Low pressure training that works! Easy to understand for those that are new to gundogs like I was/am. Turned my pup around in no time as I was sort of winging it at first.

I got mine opening day... 26lbs, 9" beard and 1.5" spurs... I was tickled!! I'll try post a pic once i load them onto the pc. Now i gota get the wife on one :)

Lindley Kennels training

I am considering sending my 1.5 yr old Vizsla to Lindley Kennels for training... I was hoping to hear from anyone that has sent ther dog there. Pls share your experience good or bad.. Feel free to PM me if you prefer.
