Re: Hunting with pop up camper
I own a Rockwood, use it every year opening week then on weekend trips a few times during the season. Works fantastic for this type of hunting, easy to pull, easy to set up/break down. If it gets really miserable outside we let the dogs in and they camp on an old blanket. They're Gordons so we don't...

Re: Public Dog Wash??
I've used one where I live. Start and finish by rinsing the wash basin with the disinfectant selection. The blow dryer even has foo-foo scent to make your dog smell better. They're OK just be sure to disinfect the wash basin before & after. I always assueme the person before me didn't disinfect when...

Re: Rick Santorum & HSUS
I was perusing a Humane Watch post this morning, and in some of the readers comments, were a couple links regarding Rick Santorum. Take them for what they are worth and do your own investigating. It's simply something I saw that I'm passing along. In the first link, it states that he is supported b...

Re: Soft Dogs
When I post a response I really am not trying to be a horses behind but until 6 years ago I never seen a soft dog than I got one and added to much pressure to fast and turned that dog into a pet for her life. Soon after that I started looking and found that a soft dog is much harder to train than a...

Re: Texas/Oklahoma/Kansas quail numbers rebounding?
Seems the same as last year in my area. I am hoping the for the best...last year had about the same number of covies just smaller covies. Maybe this year we can make some gains.

Re: annual vet shots?
Yip, every year for the last 12 on my oldest Gordon, had Brit that lived 17 years and she had shots every year also. I have never had an issue with any of my animals. It's my understanding some states require rabies every two or three years.

Re: Stainless or alum kennels
You might check you local fence builder, he can build what you want and it is fairly cost affective. They'll build panels and you put them together, they should be able to give some insight on what will last also.

Re: Canidae by Diamond?
So after problems with my dog and trying different diamond foods I switched to canidae and am pleased with their coats and appetites and stool. Question is since it's made in diamonds building and they are having so many recalls should I worry? The South Carolina plant is the plant with problems. T...

Re: Dog Doors revisited.....
Mine broke! It's still in service but it's not going to last much longer. I have a call into the manufacturer, but the door has been discontinued, so not holding my breath for replacement parts (even with the lifetime limited warranty). Anyway, we have 6 or so dogs running in and out of our dog doo...
