Re: Dog stuff never on sale
There are some menial discounted sales- but I have come to " pay it forward" . I have had elec. collars that I have upgraded over the years and more dogs = different collars etc. I have passed the old ones on to younger guys just starting out in the hope that they keep that idea going. Same here- sore spots no matter how I fitted them- I have had some beaver cut samplings go into ones chest last year- some EMT GEL and all was well.
Stuffs going to happen and I try my best to be prepared- but the rubbing and then the dogs sitting around all night licking was too much for me.

It certainly was a great start in Idaho- Hunted the first thru today (Sunday) 200 miles apart. Dogs were as good as they have ever been. For some reason I shot well - 9 shots 8 birds. Pulled the trailer around - 2 dogs and myself. First night thinly sliced pan fried birds and corn on the cob- second...

Quills are actually hollow though cutting one does not help the release- it's that first small section at the end of the quill that is barbed - cutting the quill does not "deflate " the quill. You can make light bluegill bobbers out of the right quill. I have always used a Leatherman to remove the q...
