Re: Bird Storage Question

I would definitely fence them in, as soon as u turn your back the dog.will probably harass them, mine did and killed all 60, of my layers. Just flushed them and they killed themselves flying into coop. If your dog is kept in kennel wont matter I dont think like others said will probably intensify de...

I personally like the black and white gsp. I had a guy offer to give me his but I already have full house but would have loved to have gotten her.

Re: Sick pigeons, slowly dying HELP!

One orher thing that might help is to put a box of play sand in coop where they can dust themselves and collect sand in crop to aid in breaking down food my quail loved it, and actually cut down a little on feed consumption.

Re: what to do???

On lighter note drop a plate bowl fork or what have u at my house and the dogs come running to see what treat they are getting. I cannot open a cheese wrapper quietly enough for dogs not to be under my feet when I turn around. Dont know about the rest of you :D

Re: what to do???

So whoa dog what u are saying is if negative stimuli is reintroduced in positive manner to correct said gunshyness and or storm phobia this is definitely conditioned behavior and said dog would be cured. Meaning rhis is all a conditioned response therefore if said dog did not react negatively toward...

Pedigree percentages

I have noticed on here that some of u know what percentages of a particular bloodline are present in a dog, and want to know how to find this out. My pedigree does not list these percentages, is this an add on when ordering one? Just curious.

Re: Diamond hi-energy dog food

I know will probably take a little heat for this statement, but I personally will not feed anything manufactured by diamond pet foods. Too many recalls for me to trust their product. And I also have been to their facilities since I haul in raw ingredients to them for their products I just wont use t...

Re: Quail Recall Pen - finished!

Looks good,.as far as entry holes I know alot of the houses use a funnel shaped wire so birds come in when recalled and cannot get out. Maybe what other poster was asking funnels might still allow small predators in I dont know. Never used a johnny house,.just a chicken coop style boarding arrangeme...

Re: what to do???

To be 100% accurate thunderstorm phobia never showed up until several months ago way after she was firsr introd to gun. I was shooting around her after about 2 months age. at a distance of about 75 yards while she was running around playing used a 22 pistol. And was using cap gun at house at feeding...

Re: what to do???

Well I was not saying I would breed her was just saying possibility on down line. I would not sell a pup to someone if there were underlying issues apparent. My response was just based on gunshyness being my fault not hereditary. On another note there are plenty of examples I am sure of top notch br...

Not considering getting rid of her just stopping her training. Believe me don't want to pull the plug on her, my heart tells me to go ahead with her but my gut says stop. i am not that familiar with eating the merg., and you might have already tried this before, but try soaking the bird in milk overnight with or without the italian dressing, milk really seems to draw out the gamey taste.
