Planning a Fall hunt
Would like to plan a hunt this September. I would like to be able to hunt a variety of kinds of birds. Can anyone get me started on what states have early bird seasons on a variety of birds and a lot of public access?

Older dog influence
I will be picking up a new pup in March. I currently have a 4 year old gsp. Will my older dog influence my pup at all. My gsp is a little high energy but a very good dog.

My gsp pointed a woodcock Saturday morning while we were out looking for sheds. That was the first wild bird he has pointed. I was pretty pumped.

he only does it when I close the door then he lays down and is fine. when I open it later to let him out he doesn't make a peep.

I should have clarified that this behavior is in his crate. that's the only place he growls.

i have always ignored it. i shut the door like always and walk away. i dont think he likes the springs in the door.

my wife's little white fluffy dog is usually very good, but when you put him in his it's a different story. he will growl and jump at the door. any advice on how to stop this ?

wow what a crazy week! our daughter,Harper, was born on Tuesday march 5th . she was 8.2 lbs and 20 in. mom and baby are doing great. the transition home went about as well as it could have. my year old gsp has some energy so we keep an eye on him constantly, but he loves the addition.

our first baby.....
within the next couple of weeks my wife and I will be bringing home our first child, a daughter. we were already told about bringing home a blanket she has been wrapped in and letting the dogs smell it and get used to it. is there anything else we can do?

grouse hunting in northern wi
I went out grouse hunting today with my pup and two friends. we were near mountain and flushed one grouse. I am new to all of this and really enjoy it especially watching the dog work. any help for a beginner like me?

I just made the switch from Pro plan performance to diamond naturals extreme athlete. my pup has having loose stool with ppp,but seems to be doing well so far.

when my dog gets to a bird for a retrieve he plucks the feathers before he picks it up to bring back. I haven't forced fetched him yet, will that be covered in a program I follow?

I bought some young pigeons two weeks ago. I let their pen open to let them fly for the first time yesterday morning, and they aren't back yet. are the coming back?
