Hope everyone's hunting season is going well, winter has moved in here & things are winding down for waterfowl. Thankfully will be able to hit the grouse woods until the end of December. Here's one of our videos from before winter hit.

Banded Goose Retrieve
Got a pretty cool video of Greg vom Slaney Vale retrieving a banded goose in a standing barley field that was behind us. Bands are pretty rare up here so its pretty exciting when we do get one & pretty funny watching him bounce around through the field! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQqaQS0pmsc&t=...

I have pretty much the same commands as above, only regret or thing I would change is "ok". I use it as a release command to get out of the truck, or to go out a door or anytime he is free to go. I hunt a lot of waterfowl & he doesn't break, sometimes "ok" is used in conversation after a volley & of...

Excellent read! My dog is collar conditioned & I run it on him in the woods most the time, hardly ever have to use it on him. I wanted to make sure he would listen to me even if I couldn't correct him because he didn't have the collar on so I did some old school training with him I guess you could c...
