I want to build another loft but it would be about 50 yards away from the original one on the otherside of my yard. Would I be able to move the pigeons with it or just start it with more young birds? My goal is to have 1 loft for breeders and another for my flight birds.

I have a little giant foam incubator with a Turner and quail rails. I didn't add the fan in mine and last year I had 80-85 % hatch rate we did about 300 quail (Bob whites and tennis reds) the Reds seem a little more hardy.

we try to get the pup out about every 2 - 3 hours at that age and I know that some times that cant be done. another thing that comes to mind is how big is his crate? if it is a bigger crate you may need to block some of it off until pup gets a little older.

A older trainer told me years ago never brag on your dog (or your training) until your dog is dead. I agree with who ever said it is what you want out of your dog. Know what you want and train towards that if you and your dog are happy well there you go. Happy and safe hunting to all.
