6 or 7 years ago people could BS their way around range and speed, but with the Garmin, it's pretty black and white. I'd be willing to bet very few people have actually seen a dog at a real GPS measured 800-1000 yards. I can tell you from experience, you don't see much. If there isn't vantage point...

They are more expensive than 12 and 20 ga shells and not as much selection because they are not as popular. Not sure on prices around you but here they are about $10-$12/ box for target loads and $22 for federal Wing-Shok (Cabela's Canada). I dont see anything else coming up yet for 12 or 20 theres ...

There has never been a confirmed case of a bird dieing from ingesting lead shot.

However there are hundreds of cases of dogs dieing in a conibear.

Agreed dog always trumps deer or coyote. Doesnt matter if its my your dog, or scotts dog.

Noone said there needs to be a sign saying Connibear trap 100 yards ahead in the 3rd bush beside the fallen log. But it would be a good idea to put up " Warning Conibear traps in area".

Yes really.

Id rather make a trip to the vet for a sliced up leg than a trip to the field to burry my dog.

The least guys who use those traps should do is put signs up. Especially in areas known for hunting.

Shot one for a couple years until the Versa Max came out.

30 hours not one misfire. Able to completely field trip a Remingotn with no special tools. I love my Versa-Max more then the SBEII

I had this problem but the other way around.

I used to let my dog sleep on the bed until by girlfriend moved in. She put a quick stop to it.

You just have to deal with that death stare and tell him to go lay in his bed, if he doesnt want to then he can lay on the floor.

The best chew IMO is a Kong. Stuff it full of peanut Butter or a big milk bone and it will occupy them for hours. Another thing I like to do is put a little dob of peanut butter in the top to plug the little hole then fill it full of yogurt and freeze it. Makes for a good outside treat on those summ...
