As the last 3 poster said, don't sweat it too much just yet. You can't really expect a 5 month old pup to perform like a finished dog. Above all, don't get in a hurry, get frustrated and blow up at the dog. Plenty of time. Just keep working at it. Slow and steady wins the race.
