While running the other day my dog got a very deep pad cut. I thought just keeping it clean from infection it'd heal fine. But I'm worried it won't..... Should I take a trip to vet or wait it out??? I keep going back and forth

Re: What's the size of your training grounds?

Dogs would be pudelpointers going thru Navhda system. Obviously I would need to have some water to train for that but I got some water within 4-5miles that would work.

Not trying to train trial winners. Just trying to make convenient training area to prize 1 pudelpointers

I know you all probably have some huge training areas. But realistically how many acres do you absolutely need? Just curious what's everyone's opinion is.

I saw many people recommend skipping the UPT also. But I didn't really want to fail the UT test. I don't know but in my opinion a failed UPT at an early age is less damaging than a failed UT on the dog's pedigree.... idk thats just me i guess. I also wanted to go to the test and see a couple UT runs...

you can't just use any old powder..... you need a powder designed for the 1oz 20ga loads you want to produce... with the pressures you will see in a 20ga 1oz load at 1300fps please measure your shot and powder often and accurately..... you need a good scale... if you are just starting a good RCBS 50...

how do the pigeons handle the cold weather? In IL we could easily get to below 0 with blowing snow and nasty weather.
