One of the people I talked with said he would grow out of by adulthood. Kind of had me worried about his hips but the picture above is exactly what he does. Thanks guys. I feel better now.

Odd laying position in my lab
My dog has a very odd laying position, he mainly uses it when napping or chewing on a toy. I guess the best way to describe it would be to call it a bullfrog position.
