What's wrong with the ones they sell at Walmart? The price is nice and they are made in the USA. Obviously not as tough as the aluminum ones but if I can make one last 10 years I've paid $180... I always bring a sling that is easy to adjust the length.You never know when you'll need two free hands and an adjustable sling is easy to change from traditional over the shoulder carry to "Robin Hood" carry if I need to climb with hands etc. I can always take it off and put it in my pocket.
