Chip,
I have a couple. You're welcome to borrow one and test drive before you buy. These are my first TT beepers so I can't offer a comparison.
Shoot me a text if you want to try one. We'll work out the details.

Great topic and interesting discussion. I have been adhering to the following based on the suggestion of a breeder I purchased from: Feeding equal amounts twice a day, no run/hunt within 2hrs of eating, or no food for minimum 1hr after run/hunt. As necessary during season, I'll delay both feedings t...

That's a big unit (btu wise) for that size space. I heat my garage of about 600sq ft with a 30,000 btu unit and it doesn't work hard. I'd try to find some efficiency and cost comparisons for the floor heat vs forced air. Perhaps instead of a boiler, a hot water heater with a circulator would do it? ...

More than anything else in the upbringing of a pup....gunfire is the one thing I'm most careful with. I never try to fast track it...I'm super cautious...perhaps to a fault. I can't think of anything worse than ruining all of the training, exposure, etc. by turning a pup gunshy.

It would have to go in to DT or somewhere for that because the wires run through the collar from the box and then are connected to the collar for the run down to the speaker. The wires would have to be shortened and the speaker and box would have to be moved closer together.

Who gives their own puppy shots and what brand do you use? Tractor supply has Canine Spectra 7 in single dose vaccinations for under $5.00. There are several different ones available online at Jeffers and other places.
