yes the e collar will help. Make sure you follow the proper collar conditioning and you will rarely have to use the ecollar as well. one thing that you can do now is reward hi for when he does come back to you in the yard with either lots of praise or a treat. Join a club BEFORE you select the puppy. Get recommendations, go to hunt tests or field trials where the dog's parents can be found. The worst thing you can do is just buy a pup without research and HOPE it can hunt the way you want it to. Find a Brittany club and ask questions and do research. See...
