Check out the Wachtelhund or as its been nicknamed here in America the "German spaniel." it will literally hunt everything that would want it to, longhaired, and generally the males should be over 50lbs. Really a cool dog, that hasn't quote caught on in popularity yet.

Check out the Wachtelhund. one of the most versatile dogs out there. People use them for coyotes, grouse, ducks, and rabbits. Pretty awesome dog.
