Any trialers in central Iowa
I'd like to tag along to a walking trial. I'm willing to travel and would like to walk a brace with the handler to get a better idea of how situations are handled. I'm leaning towards NSTRA or AKC but open to any walking trial.

I only know of one person who has owned a dog from them and they were unimpressed. I don't know when he owned it so I guess that's not much help. I know quite a few shorthair people in central and eastern Iowa. No one I know runs or recommends his dogs. Not to say they are bad just not what they are...

At night he is in the crate from 10:30pm - 5:30 am (latest 6am). He goes back in at 7:45 am and I am home by 12:15/12:30pm. I put him back in around 1:15/1:130pm and take him out by 5pm ish. I just bought a 4 hole trailer, I've used it with a truck and an SUV in SD. The trailer as storage and water on top of the dog area. How old is he?
I'm letting my pup hunt this year but she will only be 6 months old on opener. She's steady to flush with launchers so we are going huning untill she is a bit older. There are others here that can answer your question better but I'm sure they will want to know how old the pup is.
