I give my dogs chunks of breast meat from a shot up bird. Never had one try to eat a bird because of it.

Asking for an unbiased opinion here is like asking a politician how he's going to vote! There is always a touch of bias or leaning towards a type of dog. I'd like to tag along to a walking trial. I'm willing to travel and would like to walk a brace with the handler to get a better idea of how situations are handled. I'm leaning towards NSTRA or AKC but open to any walking trial.

I'm in Des Moines and do quite a bit of training on my own. I also train with some of the NAVHDA groups.

I only know of one person who has owned a dog from them and they were unimpressed. I don't know when he owned it so I guess that's not much help. At night he is in the crate from 10:30pm - 5:30 am (latest 6am). He goes back in at 7:45 am and I am home by 12:15/12:30pm. I put him back in around 1:15/1:130pm and take him out by 5pm ish.
