Re: GoPro Mounting?

I was watching a show the other day and they were hunting hogs in Texas and they had a camera hooked to one of the dogs collars. It was pretty cool to watch.

Re: New puppy and kids

Thanks Doug. We took the boys and the pup out in the field last night and let them play. He got much more comfortable with them and now he just wants to play with them.

Re: New puppy and kids

I'm definitely going to keep a close eye on him and not going to let the kids be alone with him. I spoke tk the breeder yesterday and he has been around children just not many. He won't leave the boys alone now and just wants to play. Not sure if I over reacted yesterday or not I just wanted to get ...

Re: New puppy and kids

Well in the last few hours he has lightened right up and acting like a puppy should with the kids! I had the boys feed him and give him a few treats out of there hands while petting him. Going to bring him everywhere I can and get him around as many people and kids as possible. He was moved around a...

Re: New puppy and kids

Thanks for the help. We just took him out to the field and he seemed to do much better with them. I'm going to give it a few days and if it doesn't improve he's gone. I can't have a dog that I can't trust.

Re: The Spaniel Spot

I'm getting him from Doorcreek kennels out of Wisconsin. I'm sure it's probably not the best place to pick him up but it beats having to drive to Wisconsin or paying for shipping. They've been very helpfull in leading me in the right direction with people to help me train around my area.

Re: The Spaniel Spot

Hey everyone, this is a great thread! I'm picking up my first pup on Saturday. He's a 4 month old springer. I'll be picking him up at the national in Maryland. I've never been to a feild trial before and can't wait to see how it's run and how the top dogs work. I'm sure I'll have a bunch of question...

Re: Purina pro plan puppy food

Thanks for the help. I would have no problem continuing using the pride it's just that no one sells it around me. I'm sure I could order it online but if for some reason I had to pick it up I would like to be able to. I can get pro plan from the local feed store a quarter mile from my house. It's a ...

Re: Purina pro plan puppy food

Thanks for the help this is all new to me! I would keep him on the pride it's just that it's not sold locally. There going to give me a bag so I can help switch him over to something else.
