Nice Whatsnext, We're in agreement. Seen great dogs both ways too. My choice has just led me away for financial reasons and dog #s. My personal preference thats all and not pushing it on anyone. Thanks.

I don't think E-collars are 100x more effective than traditional means as some have suggested, you know who you are. I tend to be in the camp of Tonys S others Polmaise. of the 14 dogs I have 5 are Wirehaired Dachshunds. Wirehaired Dachshunds it is, because they are tough and versatile. Plus you have to be tough hided to hunt with them, you will certainly get some laughs. Best personality out of any dog i have ever seen.
