I guess I'm not to worried about my dog actually finding the sheds but being broke and steady on birds, while we are shed hunting , and letting them run the woods or farmyard and keeping them broke, because attention is not 100% on them, maybe I'm thinking into it too much,

Few pics of my dog, little over 1 year, he has a noticeable trait that when he is locked on his bird his hairs on his tail get puffed out, I think it's awesome and intense to see but never really seen many like it. Fun little pup for sure.

I have a tritronics flyway g3 2 dog unit and I am not sure if my remote battery is not holding charge or batteries are getting weak, or if it's normal, how often do you recharge your remote? One reason I was wanting to go with the older tritronics is I already have a G3 exp collar that's new with no remote, so that's one reason.... But the older tritronics that I can find new is all more money than the new garmin models... And I just ordered the astro today.

Yes mine likes barbwire also, this is his second match with one, first one was three nice punctures on his neck, he is good with fences that are up, but there's seem to be a over abundance of down fences and barbwire piles around.

Never teach a dog two or three commands that all mean the same thing. They get confused easily enough as it is. I agree, I have only ever used give in the past never worried about the others. I do only want to use one command, I'm just thinking out loud here, I like the dog to come to me and I say give but if I see him pick something up away from me i don't like, I can tell him drop , Which would mean drop it now,.. Or I could just use drop for both.

Okay thanks for your help, it does seem like no matter where we go, there's feces everywhere. Doesn't the dewormer he got from the vet suppose to prevent worms or kill the eggs? I noticed my gsp pup 13 weeks old had a glob of worms come out today, it wasn't a good sight to see, he had his deworming at 7, 9 and 11 weeks by the vet he did a fecal exam at 11 weeks and no worms, he went #2 twice in the morning and they looked fine, then about 2 o'clock they came out looks like ...

Yes I do want the dog to be strong in water , many of the birds we shoot do fall into the water, I assumed most dogs wouldn't have a problem with it..
