The dummy that has a rubber ball on the end of the throwing string. Dog got it and ate the ball when I wasn't watching. I replaced the ball with a 1 1/8 size steel nut on a 6 inch cord. He will not shake that. Also I can throw it 100 ft with ease with the extra weight.

I have a dogtra RRS ser.01648. Dont know how old. Receiver light stays solid red after turned on. I sent my set to Dogtra service about 7 years ago. One receiver was not working. Cost was under $50.00 and they Got them back to me in 7 days.

Good line of homers make better training birds anyway. All of my good breeders are from racing stock. As soon as one set of chicks leave the nest, they lay again in a day or 2.

8 Mojave Greens in or near my yard in one season. One was on my grass while I was cleaning up after a birthday party. 30 6 year olds were there a few hrs before. Less snakes = less breeding.

Hip replaced 2 1/2 weeks ago. Doing great. I feel so good I could probably go out and damage it. While asking my surgeon what I could do now, I asked if I could run my dog off my quad. He looks over his glasses and says, Don't screw up that new hip I gave you.

I use a short 4# sledge. I have a stainless steel post with 2 bearing retainer rings near the top for attachment of the water bowl right on top. Machinist friend makes them. Easy to drive and remove.

I have a greater horned owl that cleaned out all my rodents. Last week he got into my coup and ate one of my best homers. I left the bob entry open. Oh well. I ushered him out the door. Owls do nests early in the year. probably feeding young. He has been here in my trees for 3 years now.

a real simple fit tool I saw years ago was to tape a drinking straw on the receiver in the site plane. throw it up and see where it is pointing. you should be looking down the center of the straw.
