I don't see anywhere that I said I was "choking", in fact I am doing quick snaps, although I can try it harder. I've watched videos on 2 out of those three trainers you mentioned multiple times. I am also weaving and circling. The dog is pulling ahead regardless of when I snap the lead or turn and w...

I had option 2 and option 3 in front of me recently and chose option 2. My wife and I agreed to tell everyone, that we were babysitting the dog for a friend for 2-3 weeks due to them moving... this was to see how the dog did... If he sucked, we had an out without the kids getting upset because they ...

Came here to search for some advice on teaching heel to an older pup... so I'm going to jump in rather than start a new thread I adopted my GSP as around an 18 month old, 62 pound muscle who had zero training to speak of. That said he's a very fast learner, Come and sit are both 90%+ and still impro...

So far we have run into: Red Fox, many deer, woodchucks, a beaver and numerous other small game, and a really mean husky. I didnt let him chase the deer or the fox (both times had to increase...

Do you have access to at least one pigeon? If so, take a four feet or so piece of 3/4 or 1/2 inch pvc pipe, or a broom handle will do. Drill a hole in the end and tie a three feet piece of twine to it, tie the other end to a pigeon's leg. Take the dog to the field, carry the pigeon in one hand and ...
