I've been training with the guy for the last week getting ready. but he is an inside dog is there anything I should do differently now that he's a hunting dog?

I went Sunday and checked everything out. He would literally run away from the guy while he is in the kennel but once he is outside he acts fine, after about 30 minutes of me helping we finally got it to where the trainer could go get Tucker out of the kennel by himself.
