I'll have to check the deer creek to see if opening accommodates dog den door. Big issue is that shipping costs almost as much as house.

thanks for reply. With lumber prices now days it's probably dang near a wash. But I kinda like your idea of building my own house with dog den door. Should be cheaper in the end and last awhile. I have a good blueprint from past houses.

Anyone know of a dog house manufacturer that has houses similar to the old dog dens (which are no longer) that don't take your retirement? I've looked at deer creek as well. Just wondering if anything else out there?

All 3 of my labs are outdoor dogs. Two are living in kennel built into garage. Another is on a slab with kennel and a Dog Den 2 house. What are you folks using for kennel covers? I am in need of a couple. Don't need anything fancy. Just want to fit over porter and cover it up. Used is even fine. Any leads to good deals? thanks
