100 yds is really close for a shorthair. Probably all the obedience and recalling before it's out of hearing range. Thanks to everyone for the advice. I really appreciate it. I felt like "she was just being a GSP" but I wasn't sure if it needed to be addressed OR if it was considered bad practice to let a dog range that far.
