My pigeons leave whole corn and peas on the ground can't get them to eat them even if I don't feed a couple days in a row they won't it whole kernel now I'm using scratch and lay crumbles but I've had no molting I have 12 birds in a 5x10 pen built from a dog kennel so it doesn't sound like crowding ...

Yeah I know I've just read a lot of post that say she should be working birds at 12 16 weeks she's doing great at being a pup out in the field I don't pressure her at all just let her run and once in awhile kinda lead her towards "bleep" birds and such when I see them before her she does here pretty...

The kennel has a pitched roof frame I'm planning the trap on open end between pitch and top cross bar it's about a 16to 18 in high space that's 5 ft wide so i can get a 15 in wide trap in that space easily also that's the only end that faces towards open air space that way the land deck will be over...

I've been giving her dingos for chewing and loving her up when chews them and taking non chew tows and not to be chewed things away when she goes for them and telling her firm but with no other corective measure no chew she's starting to get this more every day she gets things really quick

I'm putting together a pigeon coop and the only area I have is my 30x 30 back lot I'm building out of a 5x10 dog kennel so I've read that pigeons in the same area dog uses for its yard is ok and won't cause her to be desensitized to birds is this correct

also I would not really consider size comparison to litter mates my female pup at 8 weeks is considerably smaller than her three brothers are shes 7 and ahalf pounds versus their being 10 to12 pounds but she is rather small but eats like a horse 2 cups a day split morning and night well not quite 2 ...

[ would think mushers wax would be a better pre outing treatment because it is designed for the protection of dogs skin and feet I hear it is excellent for freezing conditions and extra protection against cutting and abrasions
