Forget the prescription food. ProPlan makes a weight management food that is lower in fat and calories. I would try that and get down to her ideal weight. Then switch her back to the PP she was on but limit the amount being fed. What is recommended on the that bag is just a suggestion. Your dog may ...

I was in much the same situation as you. I also have the Alpha 100 with the tt15 mini but I wanted a smaller, simpler collar for training. I bought a Garmin Delta XC and it was a total bomb. Very low stimulation and vibration. Sent it back to Gun Dog Supply and got the Dogtra 280C. Much, much better...

Re: South Dakota Intro-Gibson-Deb and "Cody"

I had a female Brittany that absolutely loved the water, great swimmer. But the Brittany is far from a waterfowl dog. As long as the temps and water is not too cold they can be trained to retrieve waterfowl, but in cold weather they are not your dog. While some Brittanys, like the one I had, love wa...

I don't have any experience with the 200i but I do have the Alpha 100 with the tt15 mini collar. The Alpha 100 works fine but ha way ore capabilities than I need and will ever learn to use. If I could do it over I would get the Garmin Pro 550 Plus. Less expensive and does everything I need it to do.

At the bottom of the page under the NEW PM text area there should be a button for ADD FILES. You should be able to select a file from your computer to add to the PM. Hope this helps!

Hard to know why that would be, unless they believe the dog absorbs the nutrients less well when fed once a day. But I'll bet you'll find the same vets would tell you that feeding twice a day will reduce the possibility of gastric torsion (bloat). I don't think so. The majority of trainers and fiel...

I think you need to adjust the amount your feeding to keep his weight where you want it. Some dogs, like yours, appear to be hungry 24/7. Don't give in, he won't starve. Not sure how many times a day you are feeding but if more than once I would try feeding him just once a day in the evening. I've b...

Sometimes that point is 200-300 yards out and since you can't run in NSTRA it can take some time to get to the dog. That's when she is likely to scoop the bird. Have you worked on that in training by making her wait? Lots of times in training it's dog points and handler gets right on the flush. But...
