While I am not an expert, I have had great success with my best buddy in a kennel. I have an abosultely irreverent Boykin Spaniel that I raised exclusively in the the house for the first 6 months (perfectly house broken), and then, by necessity had to move him to a kennel (please don't even ask why)...
