Re: NA test at Carolina Chapter
I worked with her yesterday with my dad, the goal was to see if she was going to show any signs of gun shyness. We started with a .22 pistol, we set out a couple birds and let her find em, when she did dad shot into the ground about 75 yards behind us. Not even a flinch. On the second bird he was ab...

Re: NA test at Carolina Chapter
I have to say that my nerves are a little on edge and its still a week away. Not because I want to look good but I want my puppy to look great and carry a good name for Ridge Point Kennels. She is really a great little pup and has all the natural ability in the world, heck she slammed point on her f...

Re: New here with GSP pup
I set 2 birds out yesterday evening. One in a field and the other in a wood line. Sky was playing around trying to figure out the area as she had never been there before. My dad and me was just walking real slow to where the bird in the field was and sky was over beside us. A gust off wind hit us in...

Re: New here with GSP pup
I would love to have piegons but have no access to them or a johnny house to keep them in right now. The quail I have were raised in a johnny type house and are hard flyers. They were hard to catch out of the pen. It was very long and tall enough for me to stand in with plenty of head room and I am ...

Re: New here with GSP pup
These quail were raised in a Johnny house type pen. They are hard flyers and are currently being kept in a tall pen but I wouldn't call it a Johnny house. They are really healthy and they fly hard when trying to catch so I think they will work good with training. Is the best way to train with them i...
