Until she edited it, Sharon wanted him to get rid of the dog....then the last line got changed. I didn't say that. If you look again the post has no editing nomenclature. When a post is edited it says so. (You love to use that rolling eye balls in your posts don't you. :) The edit function doesn't ...

Re: Retrieverless
My buddy says he was doing this last season and he sent him back to the trainer and he came back this spring “cured”. But he’s back to the same old antics now. I want to hear what you guys and gals think might be the cure. My suggestion is either a different trainer or he can "DIY" with Julie Knuts...

Re: Rabies vaccination
As always, i could be wrong, but i have never seen a rabies vaccine with a 5 yr duration of immunity on the label. And what the label says doesn't match current science (look up "Rabies Challenge". This research has shown that a rabies vaccination is good for at least 5 years and probably much long...

Re: New Labrador Retriever Puppy - Where to start gun traning?
. What you should do is order the Smart Fetch total program form Evan Graham, it's the most thorough program out there for retrievers. Get the program and follow it before you make some major mistakes with the pup. Hopefully you spent a bunch of money on him and got him from a top kennel. Actually,...

Speaking of Mile Posts
Speaking of mile posts, Idaho is replacing all mile marker 420 signs with 419.9 signs.
This is due to the 420 signs being stolen.
This is an honest post, not a joke.

Sorry, but I must go with the Dr. Until you have money saved up for vet care, shots, emergency care, x2 food you can't afford another dog. Hate to be tough ,but I'm thinking of the dogs. But then again , maybe you just won the lottery. :) my choice : neither X2 ! The thing that is SUPPOSED to separ...

Glad to hear you found a compassionate Vet.
After some of the responses on this thread, I was beginning to wonder if there was such a thing in this day and age.

Re: Stormy to the vet.
Foxtail and Cheat Grass awns are notorious for doing that.
They both burrow.
As much as possible, I keep our dogs out of those areas, but if I'm in doubt, a quick exam from the Vet is cheap insurance.

Once the dog is "imprinted" with birds, then it's time to quit and go to bumpers and/or paint rollers.

Re: Preventing hard mouth
For puppies, you should only use birds for initial imprinting..... Then go to bumpers and / or paint rollers and don't get back into birds until the end of Force Fetch.

Eric The Taurine used in Victor is sourced from the USA. The manufacturer is the same as 99.9% of all petfood companies use. What product do you use? Sorry, but you are wrong. I've heard and read that the final stability of the knee (regardless of the type of surgery performed) actually comes from the formation of scar tissue. Lots of dogs who have had the TTA, tightrope, swivel lock, that the "fishing line" breaks and the knee is still stable, due to scar tissue. I have ...
