I strongly second the Mendota Skidplate. Great quality and definitely has saved us a trip or two to the vet. Dog doesn't hunt without it anymore.

Got one last year and used it all season, awesome vest with no complaints. Wish they would have had the all orange option like you have last year. Nice review!
