So I have been planning on raising some Bob Whites to train my pup with, but was wondering if it be a bad idea with the pup seeing the pen and knowing the birds are in the pen, could it make training difficult, for him to comprehend seeing quail at his home as well as in the field.

Thanks for commenting guys, and i will look into those DVDs and the Braques français is the breed and the Pyrenees was the one i was interested in. My family is good friends with a guide up in NH that i think i could use as a mentor, as i grow with the pup.
