Keep in mind boys that not only is the dog judged in BDC but also your shooting is taking into account. Thats what I ment by this venue being more close to real hunting then a few other trails out ther. If you dont shoot well the best dog in the country wont win, its more of a team event, you and yo...

Sounds like to me you need to install some new thoughts in that dogs head.... Like you are the BOSS not him... He needs to know that you are incharge at all times. Not sure what your laws are on "working dogs on wild birds" in your state but here it is actully illegal to do so. I know its tough to just sit and wait till hunting season to pursue wild birds and use pen raised birds but this time of the year it can be detrimental to wild birds. Many young birds, ...

Back in the mid 70s we had one of our female BCs get breed by a coyote. At less then a year old that male would work cattle all day, an...

You and a partner have 30 minutes to bag 6 birds. Points are awarded for points, reteived bird, bagged bird, and unused shells, (your allowed 12). You also get extra creitd if all six birds are bagged before the thirty minutes. Feilds are about 12 ac in size and 7 birds are planted before each run.....
