Re: Price of a “started” dog?
I agree that is steep for a seven year old dog. I would look at a younger dog myself, because like stated it is the age of slowing down and more care.

GWP breeder suggestions
We are looking to add a GWP to our hunting family, and are looking for a quality breeder. Needs to be able to be calm in the house. We exercise our dogs daily, and don’t want a hyper house dog. If you prefer please send a PM. Thx.

I used Dr. Tim's for four or five months for my EP's. They did fine on it but when I compared it to Diamond Extreme Athlete, the Diamond looked like a better value. We have four dogs, and one of them didn’t seem to like Dr. Tims Pursuit. I think it’s a quality dog food. What didn’t you like about Victor Hi Pro? We are feeding Diamond Natural Extreme Athlete, all of our dogs like it. Its also alot less expensive.

Our four dogs are house dogs, but they are outside with enough free time to eat who knows what. Last March our two year old setter ended up with round worms, so I decided to just treat them year round.

We made a switch to Diamond Extreme Athlete, and our four dogs love it. We switched for the cost savings, and we had heard good things about it. Our local fleet farm store carries it, so buying it on sale for our pack is a big savings.

I have come across an illegal 220 in a bucket set. It was not recessed at all, and in MN it should be by 7". The trapper had his name on the trap, so I looked him up and lets say we had a little talk.

Quill, I think UJ caters to a very select group. There is rarely any useful training info posted there. It is mainly a social board. But, it's Brad...
