Re: Looking for some new pants.

I went poking around the net a while back and found an site for a company that makes custom briar p...

Re: Kovan - No squeak Toys

No squeakies for the JRT. He rips them to shreds in 20 seconds. :) The setter never cared about toys of any kind. reminds me of my youngest daughter's last text to me,,,she has a rescue pit bull (we rescued him for her, kept him till she got what she called a "real job" as an Assodiate Professor) -...

Re: Venison ribs

I used a crock pot for years but am about 100% converted to the pressure cooker for most things,,,,it's not so much the time, it's that (to me) the meat turns out better, juicier. I know it sounds counter-intuitive, but a crock pot always seemed to suck the juice out of meat to me,,,,even when it wa...

Re: Venison ribs

I didn't see the recipe on Rinella's website prior, but my wife bought me an electric pressure cooker at a yard sale last year and I did up deer ribs using that first, then the grill - and I agree - a great method for doing deer ribs

Re: Where does your dog ride?

my lab rides on the backseat (mud cover on it to keep wife happy)

my Aggie (DD) rides in a crate in the back seat, or in the crate tied down in the bed of the truck,,,,depends on whether and such

Re: Gunner or Ruff Tuff

I have a ruff tuff intermediate for my dog,,,,I like it fine - way better than the petco styles (two peice),,,and my 55 lb do fits it fine.

the gunner's do seem better, but at an increased cost

if I had the extra when I got them, I would have gone gunner
