Re: I have been interested in taking up bird hunting
It is the epitome of rudeness to put on blast communications with others for the world to see. Ms. Mazey is the president of a retriever club. If it were "take people hunting club" it would be called that. If you want a place to meet other hunters, its a good place for that. Not to mention the "Her...

Re: Is there a way to import BLM map data into Google Earth?
I posted something similar to this on another one of your posts but I was new and by the time it got approved, it was sent to the top of the thread... I have been reading your posts for quite some time now Jon while I was waiting to be accepted to the site. From day one I pretty much had you pegged....

Re: Protective gear for upland hunting dog
I have a pretty big bottle of Showsheen which I think is pretty similar.
Is a squirt bottle pretty good for bringing in the field? I keep plenty of water in the truck, but I guess that wouldn't be much help while hunting

Re: Protective gear for upland hunting dog
Good luck with booting your dog. Lots of tricks keeping them on. :( I would recommend rattle snake vaccine and rattle snake avoidance class. Clip long hair, ears/legs, groom dog after every hunt carefully checking ears and feet, carry lots of water. Carry hemostats clipped to your vest to handle bu...

Protective gear for upland hunting dog
Hey guys, I'm new here and will post on the New Members page shortly for an introduction so I will skip that part... Anyways, as a recent college grad from south LA, I will be moving to west Texas in the fall of this year. I have a 2.5yr old Boykin who has only ever duck hunted and I wanted to get i...

I have been reading your posts for quite some time now Jon while I was waiting to be accepted to the site. From day one I pretty much had you pegged. You ask for advice, but you already have a response for yourself made up in your head... Completely disregarding any help given. When asking a basic q...

Re: Gunner or Ruff Tuff
Look at Dakota 283 for the same price point as the Ruff Tough, but with WAY BETTER customer service and a few nicer features. I bought both at the same time and compared them side by side, returned the Ruff Tough. I thought I wrote a review, but now I'm thinking I never actually did that. I'll post...
