My 9 year old setter has cataracts. I've been looking into treatments and unfortunately surgery, even if it was an option is financially not feasible for me. I have read about oral medicine and eye drops, but the skeptic in me wonders if those are really snake oil or if they actually help. Anyone ha...

I've got an 8 month old male brittany pup and finally tried using my remote launcher with some pigeons. I ran him with my setter in the wood this spring, but birds were tough to come by so we mostly worked on his pattern and keeping him to the front. This summer has been miserable for training, with...

I have an english setter, black lab, and brittany in my home now. My lab is almost 14 and she is now retired. My brittany is 4 months old so it won't be long before I'm down to two hunting dogs in the house. For years I hunted my english setter and lab together and that combination was FANTASTIC. Th...

It's possible that some breeds become the "IT" breed of the moment so puppy prices rise with the demand. It seems that the brittany breed is much more popular now that it was 10 or maybe even 5 years ago at least in this area. I remember I used think how cool it was to see a brittany in a yard or on...

I've got a Northwoods long range bell and it works well in the grouse woods. It is loud and and can overpower another bell if you have two dogs running together. I prefer the LCS Canadian low tone bell if they still sell it. It doesn't carry as far, but it seems to have a crisper ring on my setter. ...

That's why if you hunt places atv's aren't permitted, you don't see traps. The only place I'm ever even lant is around water. I understand your intent, but it is still a disconnect.

As far as the definition of sin. Read your definition or pick another one. It not only mentions God multiple times it also mentions "divine" law. You are really stretching if you think sin does not have a religious connotation.
