I have done it in the past,most return but not as good as quail though. Make sure your entry funnel is big enough for chukar.

I also have pet-safe, each collar can be set for each individual dogs need. Dogs love the freedom of running in the yard, have killed 2 woodchucks and 1 rabbit. When not at home dogs are either in their kennel or crated in the house.

No the first person was touching both contacts. Did it a couple times, once I was first and once last. JH has no age limit on when a dog can be tested. NA dog cannot be over 16 months. I prefer to see the pups under one year.

If the dog is FF there is no problem. When I FF I overlay with the e-collar so I can clean up a lot of the dogs mistakes easily.

Not sure why you chose the Pro 200? I have always used the Pro 100 for pointing dogs, I like the larger range of continuos stimulation. Your colar has the large range of momentaty stimulation.

I bought 4 dogtras several years ago and have had no problems. Wish I had bought 6. Buy as many as you can comfortably afford.

I used an old Fishing pole and reel. Duct taped a metal stake to the handle and but some 30LB test on the reel. Could let out as much line as needed and when not in use reeled the line in.

You need to put your trap where the birds are feeding not roosting. You can get birds to start feeding in an area of your choise but it will take a while and you will have to put feed out daily. Don't over feed your birds, I feed mine in the evening. If I let them out to fly or use them to train I put thier evening feed in the coop after I let them out. They don't stay out long and seldom land on the roofs as they are wanting to get back in to feed.

On the pedigree it does not show the age, but the permenant records do. You can request a copy of any NAVHDA dogs test record and it will show all the info on every time it was tested. Your pup is now steady to flush and the shot of a blank. Things may change when the bird is shot and falls and the pup wants to run out and pick it up. At that point you usualy have to start putting more pressure on the pup. Take it slow for now and go at your pups pace. As far as FF I usually wait ...
