Re: A car load of GSP dogs...

My departed GSP was more of an excited whiner in the car, but would settle down once we were on the highway. Now coming home from a hunt was a different story :D he was just too tired to care and you wouldn’t hear a peep from him the entire ride. After watching this video again, would you say that t...

Earlier this month, I went on my annual dove hunt, but it just wasn't the same. The birds were flying and I got my limits...no complaints there. However, this was my first year without my GSP keeping me company because I had to put him down due to terminal liver cancer back in December. It felt real...

I went through this with our GSP and my two kids. A final goodbye to the first gun dog I have ever had.

10 years ago this month, I took one of the biggest risks in adopting a 2yr old GSP from a shelter. My wife and I mulled over getting a dog for well over a year prior to this. My 1st choice was a GSP, but my wife was reluctant as she heard several stories about their high energy levels and the crazy ...

My GSP does this reverse sneezing thing too. It will just happen spontaneously, but it eventually goes away on its own. My dog initially injured his front right paw while playing fetch nearly 6 weeks ago. I let him rest for two weeks before trying another outing at the park and the injury returned...
