which preserve are you going to? The only place I would recommend for a pup is hicken's (pleasant valley). it is out in uintah basin, great cover and more importantly I have never had a dog catch a bird there. There are a lot of preserves in Utah that have really horrible birds...so bad that I wont...

Talk to Joel to see what he going to have. I have a pup out of Buck and I love him, he produces very natural birdogs. The pup will meet all of your qualifications that you are looking for. My pup is a great family dog as well, very good with my little boy.

Jet is around 50 lbs, he usually is right around that range. During hunting season he drops a little but he really doesn't vary much from that weight.

Thought I would get one more training session in before a trial this weekend. 12 Volt, I would be intersted in the private site you mentioned. I am disappointed the site is gone. I like having sources like these to learn from and when I have a dog ready for NSTRA, I would like to still be able to know when events in Utah are going to be ran.
