Thanks guys, I just started to give a tablespoon of peanut oil every other day trying to put some fat on my 18 mo. GSP, and had noticed before he has had dry skin. Well just got back with pup, Im a proud papa :D He did really well today I set out 4 pigeons no launchers today, He pointed Two of the birds at a good 15+yrds. nice and tall. That could be it. I didn't even put that together. Trainning in the past has been pigeons. The time he layed down we used pheasants and chucker. and yesterday I used pigeons again.
I will try pheasant again today, let you guys know after trainning.

Well I got a new one for ya. Today in trainning I took him out the same set my launchers (Remote) I put the pinch collar on with a 50 foot lead. walked him into the bird not one time did he lay down today???? Guys, I should have gave more info. Last year I hunted him on wild and pen raised birds. He has probably had 300 + birds shot over him and dogs he has hunted with. I agree with HighCotton!!! When I started my whoa trainning with my GSP. If I was out front he would want to heel or creep towards me.
