Re: Chessie or GWP
Either dog will work for you, if you are willing to train the dog. I still get a chuckle when I read about how stubborn, hard to train, and temperamental the Chessie is. Mostly written by some one that has never owned one. That is fine by me. I will enjoy the companionship of the most loyal, family ...

Re: Newborns and dogs. Advice needed
How is the dog with you? Does he know that you are the pack leader, or does he think that he is? First of all, he needs to know that he is at the bottom of the pack order, and that you are at the top. Then let him know that the baby is above him in the pack order. You can do this by making your dog ...

It all depends on how they're choked. Close shots, the more open barrel. Long shots, the tight one. Which ever they may be.

I have seen a standard poodle in the marsh. I don't know what its breeding was, but the hunter with him seemed to enjoy the dog. I've never bought the "hypoallergenic" line much, if you're allergic to dogs, then keep it outside.

The 44 Magnum (or Remington Magnum) was developed by Remington and Smith & Wesson. It is a lengthened 44 Special that is loaded to higher pressures. For plinking and practice, you can shoot the 44 Specials, just the same as you can shoot 38 Specials in a 357 Magnum. As for the "real men", the 454 Ca...
