Feeding raw is NOT as hard as everyone makes it out to be. I successfully fed raw for years when I only had 3 dogs to feed :roll: Now we have an average of 20 on property all the time so it is not cost effective. My DUMB Corgi does the same thing. I think that it is hormonal....up her omega 3 and omega 6' fatty acid intake for the duration of her heat and see if that helps...

Salt does make them drink more Ezzy...beet pulp can be found by buying frsh beets and putting them through the blender or is it available commercially processed? Canned Pumpkin works well too....

Yes. Up until I had too many dogs to feed economically, I did so very successfully. It's ok when you only have 3 but now that we have a full kennel ...well...not so much. I still supplement pretty regularly though.

OH GOD....S/D??? There are better diets made specifcally for allergy prone dogs. Purina has a prescription diet as do a couple other companies. Wellness is one off the cuff that is NOT prescription BUT does have several formuals with single protein, single carb ingredient lists. Should run around $5...

Your pup will be just fine. Go have fun! Oh...and I loved the Toilet/Flushing correlation...even it it wasn't particulary nice That said, it's pretty fun to watch a good flushing dog go to work. Just don't expect a lot of range out of them.
