The sand you are talking about is fine to use. The 12-15 birds is alot for that pen. You will see more losses (bird not coming back) and more sickness for sure. so piegon breed frequently.....?im guessing i should but some nest then and if they outgrow this coop i will have to build a bigger one or get rid of some of them....4x4x6 is the size i would think 12-15 would be the max amont to keep. any thoughts on putting a cage on the outside for the to practic...

It also kills fleas and ticks...i spray my dogs with frontline but my kennels are around grass and trees so its good to kill as many fleas/ticks and other bugs as you can.

I clean the floors with bleach and water every now and then...i scrape my floors clean. and just use seven dust up under hte keenels i have no problems but i only have 3 dogs each is on a 10x10 elavated run.

Made great progress yesterday....i have left the birds alone and have him strapped a the post he is starting to fetch on command with no pressure....every now and then if you praised him excitedly he would get distract and need a little reminder but im glad to see it clicking in his head!

Ok thanks i will leave the birds off until we are solid on the buck....and i am not using the ecollar i plan on contitioning him to that after he is rock solid on the buck, and can retrieve up and down the table.

Ok good cause im just going to screw the platform down to the bottom 2x4 window frame there and then frame the bobs in on top of it...they would just have to just 3.5"...how far out should make the landing pad....12" maybe? then say 6" into the inside?

I have both i like both but for a first time trainer i found the PS/PF easier to follow becuase it had more detial and showed you how to handle certian situations....i would buy the PS/PF then shop around for a good deal on the hickox the hickox has FF that was a nice thing.

I read that the dobbs do their FF with the ear for hold and when them move to fetch they use the toe hitch...becuase its more natural for the dog reach out the foot....i have been using just the ear pinch i have him reaching our for it now.
