I personally like Erin's southern pride a lot, I have watched him run once, and been around him a hand full of times. He looks good on point, and runs with a snappy tail. Plus he has some good breeding behind him, and he is throwing classy pups.

Am I the only one that has trouble calling what Miller did cheating. Most people cheat in order to win, he bred dogs to lesser stud dogs then the original papers showed and still produced champions. Well our big group had 40 killed by 10:30, and 81 killed by 5:30 on the opener. Went out early sunday morning and killed 9 more rounding out the number to a strong 90. There are a few great kennels out there that have really focused on the upland ability in the lab. When I breed labs I focus strongly on upland ability. There are great upland pointing labs out there that should suit what you are looking for

They have a full book with all the walkin hunting areas in it. If you follow I-70 west through kansas there is a lot of WHA land and a lot of pheasants. You can find a few coveys of quail around Russel and Hays area. Feel free to give me a call I might be able to help you find some good places to go

I have a friend that is too quick to move dogs. If he doesn't have a buyer for a pup by the time they are 8 weeks he gives them away. If a dog has a couple bad outings, down the road. I don't understand why anyone would sell a pup for $250. If you have done your job as a breeder then you most likely have near $200 in every pup if you bred to an outside stud. I was at his place at one point. He showed us a shorthair female in a alfalfa field. The dog ran over the bird, all around the bird, and even jumped on the bird before he finally flushed it on his own, and shot it. Then said she was $2500, what a steal I thought

Their adult is around $23 a 40lbs bag buy 12 get the 13 free. THe performance is 26.30 for a 40lb bag same 12/13 deal. that is what was quoted me yesterday

If it is a gundog I would recommend that you but some pigeons let the dog chase them and fire a blank. Native just went up a $1 a bag when shipped $30 a bag for 40lbs now. It is a good food though, my dogs had to be fed much higher then the recommended amount and I was feeding level 3 and 4 mixed

I guess i meant by products, which I believe Brewers rice is. Not for sure on that. And there is no reason to bang your head against a wall with me ezzy I agree with most everything you have written. i have never had a problem with beet pulp, and prefer some corn in my dog food

IF you look on the back of the blue bag it says on there what they recommend it is actually a cup higher then that on the chicken formula. I don't like meat meal as the main ingredient because usually you have to feed at least a cup or two more. I fed the blue bag BG and had to feed more then when I fed a chicken by product based food
