I was wondering if there was anyone out there coming through this weekend. I would be willing to pay for all your gas from omaha to here, plus some for your troubles. He is an adult labrador, and should already have his own crate.
Thank you

I just figure I am bad at marketing dogs, I can't hardly sell either. I bred a litter over a year ago, 2 of those pups are running the national derby circuit, and it would have been 3 (one died). They were all sold for less than $500, and I am trying to give away their brothers on the started dog pa...

I've seen him run on a couple of occasions, he is a good looking dog, decent stride, runs a little low headed, and probably more of a big shooting dog than a true all age. He seems to breed well, and most of his success seems to come when he is used back on Elhews. I have to admit that I love the El...

How long do they have to point in the AKC tests? Actually based on the rules there is no set time in which a dog has to stay pointing in the AKC, only that it is pointed until the handler has a chance to work the birds. In the APLA their is a scoring sheet just like with the AKC tests, a dog must ma...

A good pointing lab, don't shoot me here guys. You can find labs that hunt the upland field extremely well, point birds with moderate style, and work cold water better then nearly any other breed.

Cajun, I am fairly sure that breeders take other means to move dogs then drive them to the pound. Those pointers may have been bought from those big breeders, but most big breeders don't have a problem opening up kennel space when needed. Some of the best breedings do come from a guy that breeds his...

IF they lost money every time they bred a dog most wouldn't do it. I guess I don't call the guy breeding his one dog a year a breeder. He is having a litter of puppies, not a breeder. You can make money with 10 dogs, and depending on what breed and what quality you might be able to make a living on it.
