I believe sciece has proven that each pup has the same chance as the next as far as potential goes. You may get good ones and bad ones but they will all have the same inherited qualities no matter what the age of the parents. Hope that says there is no difference in the pups due to age of the paren...

I'm just curious if any body here trains, or knows anybody that trains, dogs for the field using marker training techniques. Okay, I recall this being asked, possibly even by me, awhile ago, but here it is again. No Don, hearing problems are not always detected by breeders. If they are only unilaterally deaf, then they may appear to have decent hearing and if they don't always listen it may be chalked down to disobedience. IF there was a genetic deafness occuring, neither parents would necessarily appear aff...

If you roll up the hose every night to drain it/keep it from freezing, Valley Vet (and probably others) sell both heated hoses and heated hose bags (that keep regular hoses from freezing). For your site, I'd strongly recommend going with a white or much lighter background where your text is. Black is hard on eyes, and the red text doesn't help much. I'd recommend changing the pads or diapers daily. You're risking infection back there if you leave them on soiled for long periods of time.
