Muck boots are great. I wear them now and find them to be light and comfortable. I did find them to be a little tight at the calf but I started wearing long, thin dress socks (under my normal weight sock) and pulling them above the boot line. Gas shmas...get an expdition. They are safe and you have all kinds of room. Your going to be shocked at how much stuff you need with the baby. Even with an SUV of this size we are stuffed to the brim on vacation.

I agree with Phermes 1...I usually wear my underarmour cold weather gloves and they do the trick. My hands stay reasonably warm and provide some level of protection from briars etc..They have grips on the pad which also helps when it's wet.

Currently aFranchi 20g SxS...Improved and Modified, Single trigger with ejectors. I have always shot SxS and don't think I'll ever shoot anything else.

I seem to remember hearing that PT isn't really a good idea because of the chemicals used to treat the wood. I could however be "misremembering" this. You might want to look into it.
